Kid Rock Just Said Why He Thinks New York Times Is ‘A Little Bit Gay’, You’ll Crack Up

Outspoken Donald Trump supporter and best-selling singer Kid Rock has been outspoken about what side he is on in the current culture war that had divided America. During a recent sit-down on The Howard Stern Show, Kid took a hilarious potshot at the liberal media.

On the show, host Stern tried to defend the notoriously liberal New York Times to his guest, saying, “I get very upset when I hear people knocking The New York Times, which is probably the greatest…” Kid Rock cut him off, stating, “Hmm, I’m going to knock it.”

Later, Howard continued his defense of the liberal press, asserting, “I do believe that papers like the New York Times are a miracle. The reporting…” The singer interrupted him and said, “It’s a little bit gay.” Howard asked him, “What do you mean ‘a little bit gay?’ What does that mean?” Kid Rock responded by explaining that the newspaper presents a “narrative of a left-wing agenda.”

Kid Rock, however, opened up about the fact that he follows news reports of all political persuasions to get different points of view, saying, “This is why I watch–like, I TiVo Bill Maher and I watch, like, Tucker Carlson, and then I go to fucking MSNBC, like I watch everything.”

Kid Rock’s recent political involvement, plus some teaser messages, had fueled speculation that he was gearing up to challenge Democrat Debbie Stabenow as a Republican for her Senate seat representing Michigan. When Stern asked him about it, Kid revealed that it was just a ruse. Said the singer, “We start going with it, everyone gets their panties in a bunch. I have people that work for me, they’re on the in, I’m like, ‘Fuck no we’re not doing it. But let’s roll with it for a little while. This is awesome.’” Do you agree with Kid Rock’s take on the New York Times.
