In a new attempt by the leftists to undermine President Donald Trump, Democratic Congresswoman Frederica Wilson is now accusing the commander-in-chief of being “insensitive” in a call to the widow of a slain U.S. soldier.
Details reveal that during a CNN interview, Wilson said she was on her way to the Miami airport with Myeshia Johnson to receive the body of Sgt. La David T. Johnson, when the POTUS called her. “Basically he said, ‘Well, I guess he knew what he signed up for. But I guess it still hurt.’ That’s what he said.”
“I asked them to give me the phone because I wanted to speak with him,” she said, further explaining, “And I was going to curse him out. That was my reaction at that time. I was livid. But they would not give me the phone.”
President Trump on the other hand, didn’t waste any time diminishing the claims, going on Twitter this Wednesday morning to deny the claims, writing how the Democrat congresswoman “totally fabricated” his words and adding how her move was “Sad!”
ISIS affiliated terrorists are believed to have assaulted and killed La David Johnson in Niger this month. Myeshia Johnson, his wife who is pregnant with his child, cried and embraced her late husband’s casket this Tuesday as it was removed on the airport tarmac. Wilson however, admitted later that she didn’t hear the “entire conversation,” and that she “couldn’t remember everything that the president said.”
The White House however, officially denied her claims and comments about what the POTUS had said.
