MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough invoked Jesus Christ in order to attack President Trump. “It is a joke, and people will wonder what the hell happened,” started Scarborough in a rant about Trump’s presidency.
He went on to claim that President Trump’s beliefs are “the antithesis of just about every single thing that Jesus Christ said on the Sermon on the Mount.” President Trump is trying to protect our country. I guess Joe Scarborough thinks Jesus wouldn’t have wanted his people to be safe. He went on to claim that he ‘can not be debated’.
“Some things can not be debated: You look in Matthew and go through the Beatitudes, every single Beatitude, you go through Jesus’ teaching, what he says he wants people to be. Donald Trump is the antithesis of just about every single thing that Jesus Christ said on the Sermon of the Mount,” said Scarborough.
“Go read it. None of us are perfect, but he goes out of his way, it seems, to thumb his nose at all conventions, including the basics of the Beatitudes,” said Scarborough.
This isn’t the first time that liberals have tried to manipulate Conservatives by using religion. MSNBC just had a pastor on that claimed that right-wingers aren’t really Christian. The New York Times called the undercover O’Keefe video against them a ‘mortal sin’. Check out the video below.
