Summer Zervos, the former apprentice contestant has stepped forward recently accusing President Donald Trump of groping and kissing her back in 2007, in the midst of Hillary Clinton making headlines attacking the commander-in-chief by claiming he is an “admitted sexual assaulter.” In fact, the whole situation with Zervos escalated so far that her lawyer has now issued a subpoena for Trump.
The woman who claimed that Donald Trump had groped her has now subpoenaed his campain for documents about “any woman alleging that Donald J. Trump touched her inappropriately.” The president has denied her accusations and is fighting the subpoena as of right now.
While the subpoena was previously unreported, it was issued back in March and entered into the court file just last month, with the White House still not having responded to a request for comment, nor has President Trump’s attorney.
According to Zervos, the former contestant on the Trump’s reality TV show, The Apprentice, accused the commander-in-chief of kissing and grabbing her when she went to his bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel back in 2007, to discuss a possible job position at the Trump Organization. Zervos made the accusation last October just weeks before the election took place, but back then, Trump denied her accusation and simply brushed it off calling it a lie. And after he did so, she responded by suing him for defamation, and as a result, her lawyers served a subpoena on his campaign, demanding that it preserves all documents it had about her.
An official response by the White House following the issued subpoena against the president hasn’t been released yet, but one is expected to be very soon.
