San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz keeps to express her hate toward President Trump. Shortly after Trump said that the U.S. response to the crisis in the U.S. territory couldn’t last “forever,” Cruz called Trump as “Hater in Chief.”
“@POTUS your comments about Puerto Rico are unbecoming of a Commander in Chief they seem more to come from a “Hater in Chief”,” the Mayor of Puerto Rico’s largest city tweeted.
Cruz previosly unloaded against Trump saying that the President is “incapable of fulfilling the moral imperative to help the people of [Puerto Rico].”
“@POTUS It is not that you do not get it; you are incapable of fulfilling the moral imperative to help the people of PR. Shame on you.!,” Cruz wrote on Twitter.
Cruz released a dramatic statement in response of Trump’s policy on Hurricane aid. The statement sends pretty harsh rhetoric toward Trump. According to Cruz, Trump’s actions are “unbecoming of a leader of the free world.”
“I ask every American that has love, and not hate in their hearts, to stand with Puerto Rico and let this President know we WILL NOT BE LEFT TO DIE,” Cruz says in the statement.
“It is not that you do not get it, it is that you are incapable of empathy and frankly simply cannot get the job done,” Cruz added.
Cruz also asked for help from the United Nations and other international aid organizations in order to “stop the genocide” in Puerto Rico.
“I ask the United Nations, UNICEF and the world to stand with the people of Puerto Rico and stop the genocide that will result from the lack of appropriate action of a President that just does not get it because he has been incapable of looking in our eyes and seeing the pride that burns fiercely in our hearts and souls,” the mayor continued.
This is not the first time, Cruz to accuse Trump for genocide. Previously, during a press conference Cruz stated: “I’m asking members of the press to send a mayday call. We are dying here. If we don’t solve the logistics, we are going to see something close to a genocide.”
