Hillary Clinton: Would’ve Been More Deaths If Las Vegas Shooter Had ‘Silencer’

The former Secretary of State and failed presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, has went on Twitter following the horrific shooting incident which took place in Las Vegas during a concert. In a post from this Monday, Clinton shared her condolences for “the victims, those who lost loved ones, the responders,” following America’s most horrific shooting incident in history, which left at least 50 dead and over 200 people injured.

Hillary didn’t stop there, as she went forward to claim that “grief isn’t enough,” using this opportunity to urge the American people on taking action and “stand up to the NRA and work together to try to stop this from happening again,” saying:

“The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots,” said Clinton, adding, “Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get”:

Clinton however, used this opportunity to the Democratic Party’s beliefs on gun control in the wake of the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history. Even Sen. Elizabeth Warren released a statement, saying, “Thoughts & prayers are NOT enough,” adding, “Not when more moms & dads will bury kids this week, & more sons & daughters will grow up without parents.”

And an even more blunt message for Washington came from Sen. Chris Murphy, who said, “It’s time for Congress to get off its ass and do something.”
