Michelle talks about her ‘hard’ life in the WH: ‘You don’t know where your forks are.’

‘It’s like being shot out of a cannon while drinking from a fire hydrant blind. You have to tell The White House what kind of toilet paper you like. You don’t know where your forks are.’

During a tech conference hosted by Pluralsight in Salt Lake City, Utah on Thursday evening, Michelle Obama talks about her ‘hard’ life in the White House.

‘It’s like being shot out of a cannon while drinking from a fire hydrant blind. You have to tell The White House what kind of toilet paper you like. You don’t know where your forks are.’

She also compared Obama’s presidency to President Trump.

‘We are looking at two different administrations,’ she said, referring to her husband’s administration versus President Trump’s. ‘One administration was built on hope, while the other administration leads with fear’,

‘Oh no! That’s still shocking. Like what? Are you kidding me? No. No, running for office is nowhere on the radar screen but continuing in public service is something I will do for the rest of my life.’
