Day Before Testimony, Comey is Being Sued for Theft

Just a day before his much discussed and widely anticipated testimony before Congress, things went downhill for former FBI director James Comey. He just received a lawsuit filed on behalf of an ex-U.S. intelligence Contractor that states Comey left the bureau with more than 600 million top secret documents when he was let go.

James Comey is a private citizen now. In his new life, what he says today is many different from his time leading the FBI bureaucracy.

Initially, liberals hated him for making a last-minute declaration on Hillary Clinton’s illegal email use, where a private server was used to transmit top secret intelligence. However, after the President Trump fired him, he has become a saint for the left who hopes to use Comey’s story as grounds for impeachment.

But now, Comey just got bad news. He’s getting sued!

An ex-U.S. intelligence contractor informs Circa he walked away with more than 600 million top secret documents on 47 hard drives from the National Security Agency and the CIA, a haul possibly bigger than Edward Snowden’s now infamous breach.

And now he is suing the former Chief of FBI and other government figures, alleging the bureau has covered up evidence he provided them showing widespread monitoring Americans that violated civil rights.

The suit, issued late Monday night by Dennis Montgomery, was appointed to the same federal judge who has already ruled that some of the NSA’s collection of data on Americans breaks the U.S. Constitution’s Fourth Amendment, setting up an interesting legal proceeding in the nation’s capital this summer.

Montgomery says the evidence he provided to the FBI chronicle the warrantless collection of phone, financial and personal data and the unmasking of identities in spy data about millions of Americans.

There’s no question Comey, until very recently, had extraordinary access to private data on millions of Americans:“Can you imagine what someone can do with the information they were collecting on Americans, can you imagine that kind of power.”

FBI and CIA  officials refused to comment due to current and pending litigation.

This is a discussion worth having as Barack Obama’s administration has shown the federal government can’t be trusted. Intelligence gathering attempts with the mission to combat Islamic terrorism were abused, and illegitimate monitoring of the Trump campaign gave Hillary an unfair advantage throughout the 2016 campaign.

The problems of the deep state is real, and this lawsuit may help raise public awareness.
