CNN was left utterly speechless when the jobs report came out last Friday. It showed that President Trump’s economy is better in just 4 months than Obama’s was at any point during his 8 years of presidency.
President Trump’s economic team took a victory lap Friday morning after the government reported a strong gain in jobs for April and the unemployment rate fell to its lowest level since May 2007.
The US economy added 211,000 jobs in April. There have now been 522,000 jobs added in Trump’s first three full months in office.
“It’s a very strong report. We’re nearing full employment in the US economy,” explained Michael Arone, chief investment strategist at State Street Global Advisors.
According to CNN Money: It looks like the US economy is perking up under President Trump. It seems that consumers, small businesses and corporate CEOs are in a better mood since Trump took office as well.
It’s undeniable that several key economic indicators have shown signs of improvement since the inauguration, CNN Money reported.
CNN’s chief political correspondent Dana Bash praised the monthly report, calling the low 4.4 percent unemployment rate a “wow number” and a “really big deal.”
“Let’s just take a step back and look at that big number. That is a wow number. The fact that the unemployment rate is the lowest that it has been since before the recession in 2008, since May of 2007, that is a really big deal,” Bash told CNN’s Chris Cuomo.
Good Job, Mr. President!
