Liberal Fed Judge Who Blocked Trump Sanctuary City Order Bundled $200K for Obama

Leftwing federal Judge William Orrick III, who on Tuesday blocked President Trump’s order to withhold federal funds from sanctuary cities, bundled at least $200,000 in donations for Obama in 2008, as well as donating $30,800 of his own money. In 2004, Orrick also bundled $100,000 for Democrat candidate John Kerry.

The President threatened to bar sanctuary cities from receiving federal funding, a policy that is widely supported by the American public.

Orrick, of the Northern District of California, issued an injunction against the Trump administration after the city of San Francisco and county of Santa Clara sued over the president’s plan to withhold federal funds from municipalities that harbor illegal immigrants.

Back in 2015 The Federalist reported that Orrick “blocked the release of certain recordings made at an annual meeting of abortion providers.”

“The injunction,” wrote The Federalist, “is against the Center for Medical Progress, the group that has unveiled Planned Parenthood’s participation in the sale of organs harvested from aborted children.”

The conservative website The Federalist reported Orrick’s financial contributions to Democrats at the time.

Yes, apparently, this is the allegedly unbiased judge who’s now deciding against President Trump’s policy on sanctuary cities. What a surprise.
