A ruling by a federal judge in Hawaii Derrick Watson that blocked President Donald Trump’s travel ban was announced less than 48 hours after Barack Obama made a surprise visit to Honolulu. As the Honolulu Star reported, Obama “made an unannounced return to Hawaii Monday,” just three months after his last official holiday visit as president.

A federal judge in Hawaii issued a nationwide order Wednesday evening blocking Trump’s travel ban, which caused a massive chaos at Trump’s administration.

According to NY Times, the ruling was the second frustrating defeat for Mr. Trump’s travel ban, after a federal court in Seattle halted an earlier version of the executive order last month. Mr. Trump responded to that setback with fury, lashing out at the judiciary before ultimately abandoning the order.

He issued a new and narrower travel ban on March 6, with the aim of pre-empting new lawsuits by abandoning some of the most contentious elements of the first version.

Things becoming clear. Obama’s visit to Honolulu, leading some to speculate that the former president may have schemed with the judge he originally appointed.
