Democratic Leaders Refuse To Stand For Navy SEAL Widow Honored By Trump

President Trump delivered what is being hailed as the best speech of his career. The best moment came when he paid tribute to the widow of Navy SEAL William ‘Ryan’ Owens. She was given a long standing ovation after President Trump’s speech.

However, some Democrats that were there did NOT stand for the ovation. Some of these were Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Keith Ellison.

The Daily Wire reports President Trump gave on of his best speeches yesterday at the joint session of Congress.

The best part of that speech was when President Trump gave his tribute to the widow of Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens.

He stated:

We are blessed to be joined tonight by Carryn Owens, the widow of a U.S. Navy special operator, Senior Chief William “Ryan” Owens.

Ryan died as he lived: a warrior, and a hero — battling against terrorism and securing our nation.

I just spoke to General [Jim] Mattis, who reconfirmed that, and I quote, “Ryan was a part of a highly successful raid that generated large amounts of vital intelligence that will lead to many more victories in the future against our enemies.

”Ryan’s legacy is etched into eternity. For as the Bible teaches us, there is no greater act of love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. Ryan laid down his life for his friends, for his country and for our freedom — we will never forget him.

As the widow wept and and mouthed to heaven, “I love you, baby,” President Trump led a round of applause that lasted minutes.

However, the Democrats didn’t stand up at all.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi just stood there and didn’t even cheer at this incredible moment. Senator Bernie Sanders also did this, as many other Democrats.

All in all, the Dems really did embarrass themselves last night.
