Hillary 2020!: Is Clinton Running Again?

After she lost the Presidential election to Donald Trump, we all thought this will be the last time that Hillary Clinton would run to be leader of the United States. But unfortunately, it seems that Clinton has every intention of running for a third time in 2020, when she will be 73 years old.

In an article for Politico, Matt Latimer pointed out all the reasons that makes him strongly convinced that Clinton is actively planning another presidential run in 2020. As a first reason he pointed out that the Clinton Global Initiative, which was a major source of grief for her campaign, has dramatically scaled back its operations since November. The Clintons refused to shrink its mandate until Bill Clinton made the announcement just weeks before Election Day that they would be doing so. The only advantage to going through with this now would be politically motivated.

Then rumors showed up that Clinton was planning to run for New York City Major. But the Clintons never shut down these rumors, more likely because they wanted to let Americans know that politics is not completely in her rearview mirror.

Recently, when Trump signed his executive order banning citizens from seven countries, Clinton took to Twitter to mock him. Isn’t that weird? Most of the defeated candidates usually lay low after they lose, but Hillary is acting like she is still campaigning against Trump.

Here are some of Clinton’s comments in her concession speech to Trump.

“I know we have still not shattered that highest and hardest glass ceiling, but someday, someone will,” Clinton said, adding, “and hopefully sooner than we might think right now.”

She went on to quote a line of Scripture: “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

“So my friends, let us have faith in each other, let us not grow weary, let us not lose heart, for there are more seasons to come,” Clinton concluded. “And there is more work to do.”

She gave no indication that she is planning to retire, instead she is focused on the future.

Looking at all the evidences, it’s clear that Clinton is still hoping for the Office. Do you want to see her in the White House?
