Trump: “I don’t watch CNN. … I don’t like watching fake news.”

CNN is “fake news?” According to our President it is.

Now, we all know that Trump quite enjoys watching television, but about CNN he has said, “I don’t watch CNN. … I don’t like watching fake news.”

Now why does Trump, who has appeared so successfully on television for so long, have such a deep dislike of the news media? It might seem odd until one thinks about how the media has often treated him.

For instance, in a recent Breitbart article, Trump was quoted as saying, “You read all about Dr. Martin Luther King a week ago, when somebody said I took the statue out of my office, and it turned out that that was fake news. The statue is cherished. It’s one of the favorite things in the — and we have some good ones. We have Lincoln, and we have Jefferson and we have Dr. Martin Luther King, and we have –, but they said the statue, the bust of Dr. Martin Luther King was taken out of the office, and it was never even touched. So, I think it was a disgrace, but that’s the way the press is, very unfortunate.”

While Trump has no love lost for CNN, and other media outlets, he is a fan of Fox news. Recently, he said, “I don’t watch CNN. … I don’t like watching fake news…but Fox has treated me very nice, wherever fox is, thank you.”

What do you think? Has CNN been unfair to Trump? If so, do you think they’ve done so on purpose? Or maybe they just have a difference of opinion. Let us know your thoughts, below.
