Young Army Sergeant Reveals What Melania Whispered to Him During Their Inauguration Dance

There were many great moments at the inauguration last week and millions of Americans were captivated by the inaugural balls in particular.

The Salute to Our Armed Services Ball was without a doubt the most emotional of the balls and Trump was even joined via webcast by members of the military serving in the Middle East.

That wasn’t all.

Check out this awesome moment involving Melania Trump and one of our American heroes in the military…

Army Staff Sergeant Jose Medina, 29, of Puerto Rico was thrilled to dance with First Lady Melania Trump at the Salute to Our Armed Services Ball last Friday.

“It was incredible,” Medina told Inside Edition. “Obviously it was a great privilege and honor to get the chance to dance with the First Lady.”

Medina — who served in Iraq and Afghanistan — said he was nervous, but was pleasantly surprised that Melania was equally nervous.

“She was nervous,” Medina said. “I don’t think she was ready for all of that attention.”

When asked what the two discussed, Medina said he complimented Trump and her beautiful family. Melania, who dazzled in an ethereal ivory Hervé Pierre gown, was very gracious, he said.

“She was just saying ‘hi’ to me, congratulating me on being selected,” Medina recalled. “I just told her that she was beautiful and that she had a beautiful family. And she smiled.”

Medina asked Melania if he could twirl her, and she said yes. “So I did it and the crowd went crazy,” he said.
